"Checked Out" was produced for a Fiction Field Production 1 class. The film had to be based on a news story so we based ours on an article about an Oklahoma teen who, on three separate occasions, pretended to be a manager or employee of Walmart and scammed the company out of over $30,000 total. We'd like to give a special thank you to Tops Friendly Markets for allowing us to film in their store and to everyone involved in the preproduction, production, postproduction, or fundraising for our first short film.
